What Past Students Say

I must admit that the idea of taking The Prepare to Prevent Program gave me mixed feelings and I wondered if this was the right course for my 3-year-old and 1-year-old children?

There was still a year left before he entered school, could he understand the concepts? I also think there was some fear of what came from my own experiences, however, I decided to clarify my doubts by requesting a 1:1 meeting with Rosalía, that's when everything clicked.

I decided to make the best investment for myself and my family, the program offers. In addition to all the wonderful content that Rosalía kindly shares, an accompaniment that no other online course had offered me before, I found a space of respect where parents, survivors or not, can express their doubts or fears without been judged or qualified. It accompanies you in an informed way on issues like sexuality, consent, raising children, diversity, education, etc.

This program led me to understand that I was educating and preventing my children from my fears and that it is better to do it from my strengths, it taught me to detect red flags, what to look for at daycares or kindergarten, and how to set limits and keep them.

My children now have much more vocabulary to say NO and stand firm, they know how to distinguish between secrets, they perfectly distinguish their private parts and they know their names.

But for me, the most important thing is that they identify that they are the owners of their bodies, that they have autonomy like any other person. In a few words the program empowered me, my children and my family. I highly recommend it.

L.I. Vázquez

"Rosalia is teaching about an uncomfortable subject in a way that destigmatizes it. These are lessons that all parents need to learn to protect and empower their kids. My confidence in myself when it comes to dealing with uncomfortable situations has skyrocketed since going through this course. I’m no longer afraid that I’m being over-protective or giving my daughters things to worry about unnecessarily. I’m empowering them to advocate for themselves and that gives me so much peace of mind."

- Taran Conwell

"I am getting better and better at upholding boundaries and my child is getting more confident in doing the same."

- Chelsea B.

"I felt supported and it was just great having the letters and templates to be able to engage places and spaces with the right language."

Hi! I'm Rosalia Rivera. I'm a consent educator and child abuse prevention specialist. I'm the founder of CONSENTparenting™, the host of the AboutCONSENT™ podcast and the creator of CONSENTwear™. and I'm also the chair of SAGE, Survivor Advocates Globally Empowered.

But most importantly, I'm also a mom of three young kids.

Now the reason that you might be here is that you heard about my upcoming coaching program, Prepare to Prevent, and want to learn more.

Prepare to Prevent is my signature 8 week program designed for busy parents with kids between the ages of 3 to 6 years old who will be attending daycare, preschool, school or summer camp within the next 3-6 months.

So if that's you, here's the deal if you want to sign up!

This program is for moms, for survivors or thrivers, but it's also for parents who have never experienced childhood sexual abuse.

Here's what happens during our 8 weeks together.

The program begins on April 25th (please note this was extended from the 18th)

Each week you receive 3 short (they range between about 7 to 20 mins each) classes sent to you on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. You get the exact instructions on what to do for each class.

Then you have the rest of the week to implement what you learned. On Sundays we meet for a group coaching where we review what you learned and implemented and I answer your questions live!

There are also 'office hours' where I can answer any questions about anything you are practicing and perhaps having challenges with. So you are supported each step of the way.

There is also a safe trauma-informed community of moms that are there to help you so you can all support each other throughout the program.

You get access to my 8-week course that walks you, step by step, through each phase of learning and teaching so you won't have to guess what to teach your child or what to communicate to

So you will have access to the course, you'll get weekly action tasks, which will all be super simple to follow. It's not going to take a lot of time. In fact, all you need to dedicate is one hour per week at the most. Now you can certainly do more and I always encourage that.

But the minimum time requirement is one hour per week. Can you dedicate one hour per week to ensuring that your child is going to be safe when they go off into the world? I'm sure that you can.

So, you get the course, you get weekly group coaching, and new for this year, I'm also bringing in a therapist and a hypnotherapist to provide additional support each week. That will happen through live group sessions where they will give you tools to help you navigate any stress, triggers, or anxiety that may come up as you implement the lessons.

Now if you are the type of parent who is committed to this, who is proactive and wants to really dig into this work, even if you feel anxious or afraid or maybe even overwhelmed, but you're ready to tackle this because you know that the safety of your child is your priority, then this program is definitely for you.

Beyond the coaching and the signature course, you're going to have access to my five most popular workshops and masterclasses.

That's going to include consent letters.

It's going to include my safety for child and daycare school program.

You're going to have access to my done-for-you-safety-network-kit as well as my Secrets Safety Master class and my Getting Started workshop.

Now this may seem like a lot of information, and while knowledge is power, I don't want you to get freaked out or feel overwhelmed. That's why I built implementation weeks into the program.

What that means is that the every two weeks you get a week 'off' to catch up on any classes you haven't watched or lessons you want to teach your child or talk to your child's caregiver or caregiver-to-be. So there is breathing room!

This will stretch the 8 week program out into 12 weeks, but you'll thank me for it.

The goal is that at the end of the 12 weeks you're going to feel so confident that your child is empowered, that the caregivers are aware of your prevention practices, that you've done the work; that they have all of the tools that they need to go into those new settings with confidence and with the skills to be safe.

But it gets better! When you sign up you'll also get a bundle of resources! New this year you'll also receive a book and poster bundle! These are my top recommended books that I believe are a must-have in your prevention library, and will help you teach your kids with much more ease and confidence!

The consent letters, the templates that you're going to get from, the safety network kit, the school or daycare policy inquiry letters, all of that, is all going to be included and that is going to make this so much easier for you because I'm gonna show you how to implement it and I'm gonna show you if you have any hiccups, how to get over those uh, overcome those challenges.

Now. The question that I typically get is "what if I don't have the time" or "I can't make the coaching calls" or "I'm not sure that I can do this because I'm a survivor and I'm really triggered" I want to share a quick story with you.

So I was in the position, which is why I'm teaching this. When my oldest child was 5, I worked outside of the house, and it was summertime and I decided to enroll my son in a summer daycamp, so it wasn't a sleepaway camp was just a day camp.

He was really excited to join and had this love of learning for science and I really wanted to put him in and so I enrolled him. And then the night before and then again the morning of actually taking him.

I was having a full-blown panic attack about the fact that holy moly I had not educated my child about abuse prevention, and where was I sending him?

I didn't know everybody who was in that day camp, there were counselors who were teenagers and I didn't know everybody and my child didn't understand about safe and unsafe touch.

There was a lot that I hadn't taught him and I didn't know what to do. So I almost didn't let him go in. I almost canceled the camp but I didn't want to do that to my child and I also wanted to make sure that through this, I was gonna dedicate myself to learning about it and teaching him something every day. But what I realized was that I was trying to cram into each day what I should have been teaching him since he could talk.

So we did that for that summer and what I found was that I was really triggered because there was no education that was geared specifically for survivor parents to learn how to manage the triggers, to navigate this content in a way that felt safe and empowering versus scary and being terrified that I was teaching it wrong.

This is what inspired this program. I don't want you to have to go through that and worse, for your child to be at a greater risk because you didn't have the tools or resources.

And so in the last few years, I have created and developed consent parenting and I am now, here today, able to create this particular coaching program that guides parents through this challenging topic, particularly if you're a survivor in a way that is so empowering, you'll feel like a different person. Now that sounds great right, but you still might be thinking, well what if I start and I get really triggered and I can't continue.

Well there's a 14-day money-back guarantee it is ironclad, no questions asked and if you feel like you are getting stuck anywhere and you want to have some additional support, I will be there for you.

This is about a safe space where there is a community, where there is support, where there is guidance, where there are answers and someone to hold your hand through the process, so you will not be alone in this and again if you feel like it's not for you, No hard feelings.

14 days you'll get a full understanding of whether this program is for you or not. Now, if you are interested in joining, it is only by application, and the reason why is that I only want to work with parents who are going to be committed to doing this. Now. That's not to scare you and say, well I'm not really sure. Again, you will have the ability to opt-out if you feel like it's not for you.

I really want parents who are committed, who want to be proactive, who want to stop being fearful, and really want to start feeling confident.

If you're ready to commit one hour per week to helping your child have a safer daycare or learning experience and dramatically reduce their risk for abuse, then I encourage you to apply!

Thanks so much for being here. I hope that you will participate in this amazing eight-week program and you will be one of the countless parents who have transformed from anxious to confident, empowered, and proactive.

I hope to see you soon!

With gratitude,
